Your evaluation is the foundation of the intern grade.
インターンシップの最終評価は、学生の学業成績において非常に重要な役割を果たします。
指導担当者の皆様からのフィードバックは、学生の専門的スキルや職業意識の成長を測るうえで欠かせない情報となります。
Final Supervisor Evaluation
At the end of the internship, supervisors complete a final evaluation of the student’s overall performance and progress during the program. The evaluation is an important part of the student’s academic assessment and should reflect their performance throughout the internship.
Supervisors should consider the student’s overall contribution, development, reliability, and ability to meet the expectations of the internship when assigning a final score. The assessment rubric above provides guidance on the performance level corresponding to each score range.
Please note that the evaluation has a direct impact on the student’s final program grade and successful completion of the program. As a general guideline, a student who is meeting expectations and performing well in their internship should receive a score of 80 or above. Scores of 59 or below indicate that the student has not met the expected level of performance and may result in the student failing the internship component of the program.
If a supervisor has concerns about a student’s performance, we strongly encourage them to communicate with the CIEE team before the final evaluation so that we can work together to provide feedback and support the student’s improvement.
Assessment Criteria
Supervisors evaluate students in three key areas:
• Participation & Professionalism: Reliability, completion of tasks, effort, understanding of the organization’s mission, and ability to work independently and professionally.
• Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving: Ability to identify relevant issues, consider different perspectives, incorporate new information, develop appropriate solutions, and consider potential outcomes.
• Intercultural Skills: Effort to understand the host culture, communicate effectively with others, recognize different communication styles and preferences, and develop meaningful interactions across cultures.

最終指導担当者評価について
インターンシップの終了にあたり、指導担当者の皆様にはプログラム期間中における学生の全体的なパフォーマンスと成長に関する最終評価をお願いしております。この評価は学生の学業成績の基礎となる重要な要素であり、インターンシップ全期間を通じた取り組みが反映されるべきものです。
最終スコアを決定する際は、学生の全体的な貢献度、成長、信頼性、およびインターンシップの期待に応える能力をご考慮ください。上記の評価ルーブリックは、各スコア範囲に対応するパフォーマンスレベルの指針となります。
この評価は学生の最終的なプログラム成績および修了の 可否に直接影響することにご留意ください。一般的な基準として、期待に応えて良好に実習を行っている学生には80点以上のスコアが付けられるべきです。59点以下のスコアは学生が期待される基準に達していないことを示し、インターンシップ科目が不合格となる可能性があります。
もし学生のパフォーマンスに関して懸念がある場合は、最終評価の前にCIEEチームまでご連絡いただくことを強く推奨いたします。事前に情報を共有いただくことで、学生の改善に向けたフィードバックや支援を共同で行うことが可能となります。
評価基準
指導担当者の皆様には、以下の3つの主要領域において学生を評価していただきます。
・参加姿勢とプロフェッショナリズム：信頼性、業務の遂行能力、意欲、組織のミッションに対する理解、および自律的かつプロフェッショナルに働く能力。
・批判的思考と問題解決能力：関連する課題を特定し、多様な視点から検討し、新しい情報を取り入れ、適切な解決策を策出し、潜在的な結果を考慮する能力。
・異文化間スキル：ホスト国の文化を理解する努力、他者との効果的なコミュニケーション、異なるコミュニケーションスタイルや嗜好の認識、および文化を超えた有意義な交流を深める能力。
